Amaroo Farm in Spring Hill is situated equidistance between both the Macedon Ranges Shire and the Hepburn Shire. Woodend, Daylesford and Kyneton just 16 minutes away by car, while the historical Glenlyon General Store, (circa 1871) together with numerous local wineries and food producers, including the Trentham Farmers Market and Trentham Falls, are just a hop step away.

With both regional shires being highly geared to tourism and hospitality, most weekends sees a range of activities /events on display: in addition, the number of natural attractions across the two shires include the Macedon Ranges Regional Park, Hanging Rock, State forests and nature reserves, walking trails, whilst Daylesford and Hepburn Springs are renowned for their mineral springs, spas and therapies, boutique wineries and fine food.
